What do I need to know about registering my marriage in Italy?
According to Italian law a new registration of marriage is possible only after 300 days from the date of divorce
One day before the day of the registration of the marriage, the two of you and the interpreter have to show up at the municipality to sign the declaration.
On the day of the registration, after listening to the registrar’s speech, you sign in the municipal book, which will signify your consent to the marriage.
The cost of registration will vary depending on your nationality, date and place of registration, the number of guests and the program.
